Independently Qualified Persons (IQP)

An IQP is someone who is registered in the Waikato/BOP Region as being qualified to inspect a particular specified system(s) that are listed on the compliance schedule/warrant of fitness.

Hamilton City Council administers the IQP registration process for the Waikato District/Bay of Plenty Region and maintains the list of IQPs. The list is regularly updated and kept on the Hamilton City Council website.

Every IQP is subject to random review and any complaints about individuals will be thoroughly investigated.
