User Agreement & Booking Policy

Active reserves user agreement

As part of the procedure for booking reserves within the Tauranga City Council area, all organisations are required to sign a current User Agreement.  This Agreement has been designed to set clear common guidelines for all users of the Councils reserves and ensure Council has a long term approach to managing them.

Annually the agreement will be reviewed and changes made as required, all sports field users will be advised of the changes and required to read the agreement.  They will also be required to complete and sign the User Group Form of Agreement before sending it back to Tauranga City Council.

Please ensure that your club committee and members are familiar with the agreement and the details of it.

The terms and conditions of use are contained within the Active Reserves User Group Agreement.

Outdoor spaces booking policy

All bookings on Council's Outdoor Spaces are subject to the Outdoor Spaces Booking Policy.

The policy is there to provide consistency in the decision-making process for booking outdoor spaces within the city and it recognises the need for flexibility to cater to a variety of situations.  It also ensures that Council makes the best use of what is available and ensures that activities are accommodated on the most suitable space for the type of use.
